Un-assuming Miqo'te

"...Yep, that be Ul'dah up ahead. Home of all the riches and valor this sandy area has to offer. So long as you keep your coin purse close and your wits sharp, you'll be fine. Though if you run into any trouble, be sure to come to me...with your coin purse intact, of course."

Un-assuming Miqo'te

"No need to give me that look. I ain't an Adventurer. Nah, I'm just someone that needs to put food on my table. You understand, right? The best services -always- comes with a price. But don't worry, so long as your request isn't too much trouble, your fees will be affordable."

[You]

She Smiles.

Un-assuming Miqo'te

"Certainly! But, it'll cost you, as my up-to-date knowledge is informative."

[You]

"Is learning more about you come with a price tag as well?"

Un-assuming Miqo'te

"Yes, though everyone has a reason to learn of one's name. What's yours?"

She raises a brow; curiosity was plastered on her face on the answer before this nameless fellow.

[You]

"...T-to just converse? Like how one would at a tavern?"

Silence befell her. She began to look at the chronometer on her wrist. After a hum, she looked at the nameless fellow.

Un-assuming Miqo'te

"Well, I have some time before I meet someone, so you may have your curiousity of me sated. I'll even waive the fee. You still have to pay for the informal tour of Ul'dah though."

She gave a grin towards the person before her. She did not forget about the previous inquiry.

[Biography] "So, who are you?"

"The name's E'Leesah. Just another civilian just trying to make ends meat their own way."

[History] "So where are you from?"

"Ul'dah. Born and raised here."

[Gallary] "I like your eyes."

"Thank you. Many seem to compliment how pretty my eyes reminds them of the desert."

[RP Hook] -Another traveler passes by calmly. They glanced over at E'Leesah and the unfamiliar face, who was asking another question.-

E'Leesah's ears twitched while her eyes looked at the one asking the question. "I'm familiar with that, to some extent. However..." Her eyes glanced over at the ease-dropper on their conversation. "I feel like -they- would know more than me." Her demeanor altered slightly. Her eyes, once calm, now had a piercing stare to them.

-The moment the ease-dropper was given attention, they scurried off forwards, immediately breaking eye contact. The person (you) looked over to E'Leesah. "...Who was that?"

"A Smart person. There's a handful of those in the city."

- Should there be a situation where her client directly competes with her previous client/ a client shares interest in removing a thing of interest or related to a previous client, there would need to be a discussion going more in detail about it. If a compromise cannot be achieved, than the deal with the present client is off.

[History]

E'Leesah was designated to be a huntress since she was a child. At a young age, both her combative and tracking skills were impressive. In time, she became one of the E tribe's best hunters. When Game wasn't needed, she would spend her time assisting others with gathering neccessities for cooking and medical herb. Her downtime was also spent on observing the Ala Mhigans converse in nearby settlements. Their own tribe would sometimes go to nearby towns and cities to trade with the common folk. She often wondered what civilization was like in the Ala Mhigan culture.

One day, the Garleans invaded Ala Mhigo and took the land for themselves. Her father, Zehka, saw the invader's numbers and thus became more cautious of doing trades with the Ala Mhigans. The Nunh ordered his hunters to do their hunts at fixed times, hoping to avoid any possible hostility from the Garleans. What started to sound rationale turned to irritation overtime. They wanted a fix to the solution, but the Nunh suggested they avoid agitating the foreign army. Leesah herself was not liking the living arrangements and challenge her father for the title of leadership. Her father accepted the challenge, but if she lost, he'd take her last name from him. Leesah accepted this wager. They had their duel, and despite her best efforts, she lost. With her last name no longer attached to her, she decides to leave the tribe. To her, it was better to explore new possibilities than to rot away slowly in the hell her father commited to.

Her long, lonely travels took her to Ul’dah. Once inside, she saw a much different culture than what she was used to; a culture where everyone was constantly moving. Buying items from market, financial status from poor to rich moving about, there were many things going on. With only her dagger, her wits, and the brief knowledge she had of trading with others, she had to work from the bottom and collect money legitimately. Her choice of living was at a cave not too far from the city, so she was able to manage money easier. Her days would be spent as an Adventurer, taking on anything that worked with her current skills.

Then she came across a big commission; there was a midlander who needed to be brought in, dead or alive for murdering several Brass Blades. The reward for it was bigger than her time hunting monsters, so she persued it. The only issue is that wasn't a lot of leads other than his name and the times prior that he last went through. This made tracking the male difficult, but not impossible. After her time searching Thanalan and overhearing people's conversation, she came across a lead to their hideout. When she was able to sneak inside, she made short work of the wanted man and knocked them out. The woman brought him back to Ul'dah and the adventurer's guild rewarded her handsomely. Seeing this much money not only brought a smile to her face, but made her realized how she enjoyed hunting down humans and wished to do it more often. Though they didn't come up quite as often, she made sure to set those as a priority to complete whenever they did show up. Some didn't go as planned; there were times she had to fight them, or times she had to chase them down. Regardless of how it started, the ending was the same with her being victorious. Each successful commission made her richer than the last, and she enjoyed the thrill of the hunt most of all.

Throughout the months, she was able to take in more dangerous commissions. In that timeframe, she aquired a proper living corner in the Goblet's appartment. Leesah valued the way she spent money; everything she used with it was meant for for improvement related to her. From getting better cloths, to improving her weapons. When money stopped being less of a focus, she spent her time expending her mind by reading books and learning more about Ul'dah and Thanaland. She also read up about who the Garleans were so she could better understand the situation in Ala Mhigo. With proper time management and resources, she came to understand how powerful money is and how powerful the Garleans were.

One day when she was wrapping up another commission, she was approached by an elezen with a job offer. They were wondering if Leesah would be interested making some extra money; an motivator she's come to appreciate as of late. When asked for more details, she was told they needed someone to assassinate a 'problematic individual.' Leesah was aware that criminals and thieves exist in Ul'dah; and she didn't have a problem killing someone so long it doesn't cause problems for her. The only thing she hesitated on was the outcome with the Adventurer's Guild; if she began taking on these kinds of jobs, it would hurt her relations for future jobs. Seeing the hesitation, the elezen disclosed the offer for the assassination; a sum that was bigger than what adventurer guilds normally pay. Hearing that reward amount swayed her to accepting the request. She didn't want her public image damaged, so she got some darker cloths and a mask to cover her face. The job itself was soon done and from that time on, she would take on more jobs from the elezen when requested. Some of the jobs that the elezen requested was being a bodyguard, stealing important items from other people, or transferring things from one area to the next nation undetected. Impressed with her accomplishments and work ethics, she was hired by him permanently with more pay; ending her relations with the Adventurer guild for some time. Her name was more wide spread in the Underground, as people become to acknowledge her capabilities. Since her employment, she took time for herself to explore other nations and learn the ins and outs to make her job more efficient. Her boss also treated her and the other members like family. It was an experience she lacked ever since she left her tribe, and hopes to one day visit them.

Things were going good for Leesah and her boss, but all it took was one night to create a living experience she won't forget. Their elezen boss was invited over to their business partner's large house in hopes to negotiate some dealings of recent earnings. Both Leesah and her other trusted bodyguard came with him in the negotiation room. Leesah was asked to wait in a different room with the business partner's other members, while her own boss and the bodyguard went into the negotiation room. The elezen boss had their drink provided by the business partner; a action that sealed his face. Sometime after it was consumed, the person they were going to negotiate with, pulled out a gun and shot the bodyguard twice. With the bodyguard dead, the elezen could feel his body harden, soon realizing his drink made him paralyze litterally. What made it worse was that the rival business partner showed up from the shadows; announcing their alliance with the one the elezen thought was a friend. They were forcing him to give up his share of resources and land that he owned, but he refused. Leesah heard the gunshots and wanted to check it to see if they were okay. The moment when she was stopped by one of their members, she wasted no time on knocking them out one by one. By the time Leesah ran into the door to open, she saw one of them pulling the trigger to shoot him. She watched as her boss died in that moment. They knew that they couldn't win a fight against her, so the business men offered to buy her alliance with their money. The offering would be higher than what her elezen boss was paying. Leesah's response to that proposal was gravely injuring them, denying it altogether. She interrogated them, wanting to know why they did this. They tried to plea for their life, but she killed both of them swiftly. Then she grabbed the largest sack she could find and robbed the traitorous business man of his valueables in his estate, then went for the rival's estate to loot them next. As Leesah head back to her deceased boss' headquarters, she learned just how conquest and buying 'allies' is both a powerful and dangerous tool. After telling the other members of the news, Lessah expected someone to take position as the new leader. Much to Leesah's surprise however, no one stepped up; they rather disband and go about their own business. Each of them had an equal share of the remaining loot, though Leesah was one of the few with a bigger cut of the portion. Not by her own choice, but the members acknowledged her hard work within her time. With the money she had, she spent the next day calculating what to do with the money, and her plans for the future.

There was a lot to think about. The money was certainly enough to upgrade her living expenses and still have some savings left. The time with her now-deceased-boss fueled a new desire within her. She wanted to run a underground business like her boss did, and she wished to do that by taking as much information and resources as possible from other nations and cities within Ul'dah region. Running an underground business meant more money for her, and knowing the right people will help achieve her dream of gathering resources from behind the shadows. Despite the desire to run a shady business, she still wished to reclaim the E'tribe from her father to save the people involved. Should she be successful, she'd have to convince the tribe of this new route she was planning on chasing. Otherwise, she'd have to form the E'tribe from the ground up once more.A lot of planning is needed for this to work, but her desires are genuine...and that is going to be the part that'd win them over.

It was then that, for the first time ever, she spent the next few days calmly planning out her stratedgy on making all this, including the dirty money, work in her favor. Once the finer plans were worked out and she had a more clear outline of what she needed to do, she got to work. First, she went to make a purchase of a remote island. This remote island will be a investment of a future plan once everything else is set into motion. Leesah would then travel back to Ala Mhigo for the E'tribe in hopes to challenge the Nunh once more. He agreed, thinking how the turn out will be the same. Unfortunately for him, Leesah had gotten both stronger and wiser since her time in Ul'dah. Within their duel, Leesah came out on top as the victor, along with reclaiming her last name. The tribe members thought that she'd stay with them and lead them to a better life in Ala Mhigo, but Leesah had other, better plans.

"Come with me if you desire a better life." Leesah said in confidence to them as their leader. "These lands, at its current state, do not offer much safety. Nor is the hunt worth the risk with Garlean armies present. I promise to shelter you all in a new land in Thanalan, where you can hunt, relax, and trade as you please, along with giving you new possibilities unavailable to us in Ala Mhigo currently." When people spoke of their attachment to Gyr Abania, she nods in understandment. "Do not worry. Should Ala Mhigo, and thus Gyr Abania be liberated and you all find Thanalan to be unsatisfactory of a stay still, I will be a woman of my word and have us all reside back in our homeland."

It was then decided. All of the remaining miqo'tes decided to follow along Leesah back to Thanalan. Their father, proud as ever, refused to go back with them. Thus, did he stay in Gyr Abania and find life his own way. Good on her world, they were greeted with a new location for their tribe within Thanalan. Leesah then explained what she's been doing in Ul'dah and how she became to be the person that she is now. How she wish to run a business, while also taking on more responsibilities beyond just being a Leader for the tribe. She also explained that they don't have to help assist if they're not interested, and that the E'Tribes traditions will always remain intact. They were amazed by her ambition, but were also concerned of it. When they asked how Leesah would be any different than the Garleans that invaded her land, her response came with a smirk. "Any other would use their own people as stepping stones for their selfish gain. I only desire a better life for myself and the Tribe. You may leave whenever you wish, as there would be no ill will from me so long as you keep this tribe a secret." After hearing her answer, they were more supportive for her ideals as none left the tribe now stationed in Thanalan. Even though many still stuck to their traditions, that was fine with Leesah; it was their choice after all. All she wanted to do was protect her tribe from anymore dangers.

With the remote island and the tribe under her name, she began to invest the rest of the money in secret. Many moons and cycles passed by, each sun would be spent tending to the duties of her tribe, or finding other ways to make more money. With time and money, she managed to turn her house into a gym as well, welcoming those who wishes to get stronger with a reasonable fee. She was eventually seeked out by an individual named E'Rauza, leader of an organization known as 'The Blue Claw.' E'Rauza wanted her as their intel broker. E'Leesah accepts, under the condition that she's contracted just so she can 'keep her options open' and keep things professional.

No matter what challenges comes her way, and no matter how dangerous it'd be, you could always count on E'Leesah to get the job done. Just make sure you have her payment ready. Her work is anything but charity.

[RP Hooks]

Whether it's Ul'dah, Limsa, or even Kugane, you'll find her either socializing in the big city areas or out in the field, fufilling her employer's request. Most of her hooks leans toward morally gray. For those that pick those, we need to have an OOC convo of what is to be expected so there isn't any misunderstandings.

[An on-looker] - You see a miqo'te from time to time in the city. Whenever they do show up, they're seen either talking with someone, or being idle in the city. Whenever they were idle, however, you can't help but feel like they were...looking for something. You just wasn't sure what. One day, you spot them again, and decide to muster up the courage to converse with them. 'How bad it could it be?' you wondered. 'I just want to see where this goes.'

[An Neer Do-well/An Employer] - Whether you were an individual looking for someone willing to get their hands dirty, or a shady person looking for some extra hands, you were someone who used their eyes to pick out an individual that matched what you need to get the job done. For most people, her name and fame could be found at a local bar within the Ul'dah/Limsa city. Everyone has a hidden reason for contacting her; all she cares about is whether her employer has enough money or not.

[To Get Fit] Whether you are a Local of Ul'dah, or just visiting the city, you heard from others that there's a Gym in the Goblets. As you look more into it, you find out that this woman has a built in gym and that those who wishes to get some exercise is welcome to come. The membership options are small, but just enough where she can provide the main essentials.

[Mercenary Work]

[NEER DO-WELLS & EMPLOYERS]For those that that are doing the ‘Neer Do-wells/An employer’ hook, here's a list of things that she commonly gets commissioned to do. Keep in mind that these job catagories are mainly referring to an NPC character, though they could also apply to a person. Leesah interacting with other RPers in this matter would need to have some form of agreement, depending on what the ‘job’ is.If there is a particular commission or job you wish for Leesah to do, do not be shy and speak to me about it OOCly or IC.. Just know that depending on what you ask, it could be something that CAN be done or can't. Also know that, any IC jobs that involves another player, the client and I would need to speak more OOCly just to make sure we're on the same page.

[Bodyguard] - a job that requires to protecting a person of interest from opposing threats such as a powerful figure, monsters, or whatever threat that houses specific locations (ruins, dungeons, etc). There's been many cases where the bodyguarding is short term. Along with making sure the person is safe, they tend to task her to transporting her to another location, where they could get additional protection and support. If the protection is needed long term, then there would need to be a timeframe for the duration needed, or at least a clear idea when their service is no longer needed. If the service seems infinite, or shows no end in sight, she may end the deal. To show a sign of good faith, she will end the deal at a location that is either neutral or favored to the client in question so that their journey is a smooth ride onwards.

[Thivery] - Need something stolen from a location or from a person? That's the sort of job this catagory goes for, as Leesah would infiltrate an area to get a particular item. Whether it's stealing information, a particular item, or even kidnapping a person, E'Leesah will do it so long as there's a clear understanding. Before the mission begins, she first needs to understand the 'value' of the thing she's stealing, as well as clarification if it's the only thing she's taking. There's some inner science behind the reasoning, but the more she finds out about it, the easier her mission is when dealing with unexpected scenarios.Capturing things that are larger in size is difficult, but so long as it's feasable, she'll consider taking the job.

[Transport] - A job where the person takes an item of interest and carries it discretely to the designated location. It can be anything; from a caravan of items that needs to reach Gridania to a simple letter discreetly left in someone's desk, all showing signs that they should read it. Transport that may require longer travel is fine; just means that the fee with be bigger. Then again, if the employer can make it worth her while, she may waive the additional fees.

[Scavenger Hunt] - It's a job where you task Leesah to look for something for you. Maybe you heard of a rumor that got a mystical sword, but you don't know exactly where it's at other than some hints left behind. Worse off, you're unsure how safe this area is. This is where you hire Leesah. Granted, this is one of the more expensive commissions to ask for, so be prepared to have some gil on you.

"A bit too pricey for my liking."

"Hmm...I'll think on it some more."

[The Unending Jog]

[OOC Stuff]

Hey, thanks again for checking out my Carrd. I hope it is to your liking.

For those that wonder if I 'travel in the light,' I do not nor do I ever plan to. If this is a deal breaker for you, I completely understand. I just wish to be transparent so to not create a misunderstanding. Past that, I'd be down to roleplay with you in this fictional world of ff14.

As you may come to suspect, the tone I'm going for E'Leesah's roleplay experience is morally gray, due to her being a mercenary and handling certain mature (and possibly even, adult) undertones. Therefore, it's best that people over the age of 21+ be roleplaying with Leesah. This isn't to say that she CAN'T rp in lighter, slice-of-life settings...but she herself may prove to be a problem directly or indirectly to players involved later on in the plotline, so it's best to have her avoid such scenarios in hopes to provide others a healthier outcome. Roleplays relating to her Gym is an exception.

Here is my Adventure Plate! I Operate my FF14 time on EST, so if you ever want to meet up or send me a tell, that would be my time zone.

In terms of how I rp, I use d20 for my /random. I normally write them in sizable paragraphs in one or two post lengths, and will post even greater lengths if I'm feeling it. Naturally, I try to match the pace of the rper as best as I can. "As far as rp etiquette, I use quotes and /em to help make players immerse in the scene like this."

If you wish to follow me or speak to me on twitter, here it is! This is a good alternative for those that wishes to send me a message to send something up, or wishes to follow my content.I don't post too much unless it's FF14 related or other games I'm playing. And in terms of FF14, it'd usually be either Gposing or some adventures in Treasure Hunting.

[Alliances]

This section speaks about NPCs that are allied or on good terms with E'Leesah. If you're curious of the PLAYERS E'Leesah works with, then click on the button below this. (currently, it's under construction).

E'yulo Tchenkuva (Yulo Tcenkuva for non Miqo'tes) - A miqo'te that first began exploring the possibilities of Alchemy and technology; a woman of science.

E'onggo Fhuz (Onggo Fuz) - An ex Gigantoad (H Tribe) member in the Limsa region. Her side hustle is joining the underground fight tournaments. Gruff personality, but honest.

E'Rauza Mitnu (Rao-zah Mit-new) - Leader of the 'Blue Claw.' Tends to be seen conversing with Leesah on objectives. Handles paperwork when not leading the members on missions.

E'Rotsa Cott - a Miqo'te who left the tribe on good terms once she was exposed to the wonders Eorzean offered. Since enjoying the city life, she's been striving on improving her collection of clothing to keep up with the ever-demanding fashion of the world.

[my notes]E'Leesah Kanshi
This is a name that was once used in Ul'dah for her legitimate business as a co-healer, now used for legit things in Gyr Abania. It is said that E'Leesah 'moved' out of Ul'dah and went to Ala Mhigo once the nation was liberated.
* This is to pay homage to a rper that spent some intimate time with E'Leesah and I didn't want to delete her off the map.

An unofficial name for her mercenary gig and anything she uses in shady business. She has am ID and citizenship to prove its 'legitimacy.'

Name: E'Sheba Jahtort

The following NPCs listed help assist either the RP plot that E'Leesah is involved in or are assisting with E'Leesah's store.E'yulo Tchenkuva (Yulo Tcenkuva for non Miqo'tes) - A miqo'te that first began exploring the possibilities of Alchemy. It started with hearing about creating potions in Ul'dah, then turned into something she was seriously interested in. She tried to convince her Nunh the benefits of learning alchemy, but they weren't interested. Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity, she began to persue more knowledge of alchemy in Ul'dah. However, learning alchemy was a time of trial by error, and her funds were running low. Before she considered going back to her tribe in shame, Leesah approached the miqo'te in hopes to enlist her in her business. Tajha accepted, and upon learning that she yearned to join a tribe once more, Leesah offered an invitation to her E'tribe. This was a great turning point for Tahja, as the backed funds helped her persue projects and ideas that she didn't consider prior. Overtime, her knowledge of alchemy improved, and her new focus is learning machines. Her new goal is to work in Old Sharlayan in hopes to improve her knowledge as well as push Leesah's goals.

E'onggo Fhuz (Onggo Fuz) - An ex tribe member in the Limsa region. Due to actions that were pissing off both the Nunh and Leader, she was exiled. Since then, she would hang around in Limsa, taking on odd jobs. One time, there was a fight club that both Leesah and Onggo entered, though Leesah was a spectator taking any bets that looked favorable. Upon seeing Onggo and analyzing her form, she began to throw more bets on her, to which they ended up winning. Her last opponent was the ship's champion. Upon seeing how both of them fought with other opponents, she approached Onggo and gave her advice on where she could exploit some of the champion's weak points. One of them being were his thighs, another was to use their movement to their advantage, and lately that they should stay on his left side since the champion was mostly right handed. Thanks to her advice, she managed to win the fight. Leesah also got paid by betting on Onggo, knowing that she'd make a lot of money thanks to her advice. Once Leesah gave Onggo 40%, they spoke a bit more. When they learned that Leesah owned both a business and a tribe, she requested on joining her, to which Leesah accepted. Since then, Onggo's been Leesah's personal enforcer on errands when Leesah needed to negotiate or when she needed protection on business activities.
